Not really, I saw people wanting Mads Mikkelsen, and I love me some MM, but he is always type casted as the bad guy. Plus I'll be honest, I got zero faith in The Witcher tv show. I always got the impression that The Witcher games are secretly better written than the books.

That and I don't think Netflix has really done an expensive under taking. Even the marvel tv shows are so obviously low budget. And for something like The Witcher you might need a better budget, I mean they can Supernatural some of the stuff, like wendigo's n wraiths. But you know, dragons n shit.

Does anyone know specifically how much the Witcher games borrow from the books and how much is original content wrote by CDPR?

The Witcher takes place 5 years after the last book. It's all original after that aside from callbacks to book events. (Law of surprise, yennifer, etc)

Ah, I didn't think of True Detective. That's a rare beast though. Anyway assuming it was a possibility, does anybody really want Keanu playing Geralt besides mad_inputs? I just don't see how he fits. I'd put money down on them choosing some relatively unknown actor for Geralt. If I had it my way I'd put Michael Fassbender in the role because Michael Fassbender.

Fargo Too.

As far as perfect cast 1 to 1 Geralt, Anson Mount is the best Geralt candidate as far as looks and voice and he can act his ass off too but he's part of Inhumans now so that choice is gone.

He's Geralt.

As far as dream casting for me Keanu Reeves is just fucking cool and I'd like to see him more. He's probably not even in the casting director mind at all tho.

Finished up season 1 of Twin Peaks and loved it. Season 2 has been just as good so far if not better (I'm about 6 or 7 episodes in).

Uhhh... yeah, it's quite disappointing. I'm all for experimental art films, but Twin Peaks Season 3 lacks a cohesiveness and continuity to the series that makes it almost unbearable. The series is no longer about the podunk town of Twin Peaks. It's odd but episode 3 and 8 felt more like Lynch emulating the likes of Maddin than anything else which is such an odd statement to hear someone say about Lynch. It also feels like he's dipping more into his cinema filmography and taking themes and elements from previous films and grafting them into Twin Peaks.

Game thrones is amazing so far.

I finished Last chance U season 2 last week. I liked it, but the new players this year are all trash personality wise(well not all of them)

My goals this summer tv wise is to finish Arrow season 5, legion season 1, and voltron season 2-3. That is about it.

Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2

Only about 4 episodes in but it has already topped the first season in terms of sheer mayhem and hilarity. It's really great so far.
